"Anna Dunwoodie, Laura Robertson, Bronwyn McConchie, Wendy Piddington, Kate Jeffares and Mikaela Ymker have come together for this special performance. While they have played together in other combinations, such as the Auckland Harp Orchestra, Harpenz and various smaller ensembles, they are enjoying exploring the timbre of six harps together. Playing a range of music from Thomas Tallis in the 1500s, Turlough O'Carolan in the 1600s, Vivaldi in the 1700s, right through to music from the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean".
The ensemble members are all students of Anna Dunwoodie, and are engaged in all forms of music, all still studying and working towards harp exams and a myriad of performances in both the traditional and classical scene."
