Pauline Vallance has travelled from Scotland to reunite with Heather Innes, now living in New Zealand, in their duo Celtic Caim.
Pauline and Heather have been singing together since 2014 and last toured Australia and New Zealand in 2019. Their music has been described by audience members as hauntingly “beautiful harmony singing” which can be a capella or accompanied by clarsach, flute, and/or bodhrán. Their concert set is an eclectic mix of Celtic songs, songs written by various songwriters including Pauline’s own songs and the occasional song written by Heather. Add to that a jig or reel here and there performed on flute and bodhrán for you to get your feet tapping and their concerts are not to be missed.
