  The programme is a mix of trios and duos, including original compositions and arrangements. The colour and atmosphere of French Impressionist music from the 19th and early 20th centuries will be mixed with works by Bizet, Dohnanyi and Villa-Lobox, as well as a new work composed for the group by New Zealand composer, Anthony Ritchie.

  Aurum Trio comprises Barbara Hill (flute), Robert Ibell (cello), and Michelle Velvin (harp).

  • Ernst von Dohnanyi  - Ruralia Hungarica
  • Marc Berthomieu - Cinq Nuances
  • Jacques Ibert - Deux Interludes
  • Anthony Ritchie - Fragrantissima (new commission)
  • Claude Debussy - Reverie
  • Heitor Villa-Lobos - The Jet Whistle
  • Georges Bizet - Entr’acte from Carmen
  • Emil Kronke - Tarantelle from Suite Italienne Op. 186
